The games I'm about to say are games coming out for the ds & I like ( note: release dates sometimes change)
-Disgaea DS- The people that dont know, this is a game that was release for the PS2 (2003) & then for the PSP sometime back. this game is good for the RPG-fans, it allows you to level up their characters to level 9999 & deal hundreds of thousands of damage points. This game contains the original disgaea storyline as well as an alternate storyline starring secondary character Etna, & a head-to-head local wireless competition. The DS version also displays a grid on the upper screen, allowing you a new view of the battlefield "to better formulate strategies". So if you love the game or never had a chance to play it, look for it in July ( release date: 7/--/08)
-Guitar Hero: On Tour - O, My God! Guitar Hero for the DS. But how will a series that's famous for guitar peripheral work on the DS? With a peripheral designed specifically for the DS ( it goes on slot 2 aka the gba slot), of course. Using the fret buttons (though only four buttons. "sorry orange-button fans"), it looks like you'll use the touch screen to hit the whammy bar & strum the strings (even though the game's missing a button, I still expect Guitar Hero: On Tour to be about as challenging as the previous games.O, & try not to break your DS if you get frustrated.) , though you'll be holding the DS more like a book then a guitar to play, so you might not feel like your playing a Guitar Hero. Nonetheless it might be fun to play Guitar Hero a new way.O, & you might expect, that it has a single-player mode in which you take a character through five new venues to become a rock god (or goddess). With six character (two of them are new), & a head-to-head local wireless using new battle items (or play cooperatively). No word yet on the track list, but activision says it will include some alternative, classic rock, & pop songs. So for all you Guitar Heros or all you new ones, look for in this month ( release date: 6/22/08)
-Final Fantasy IV- What Final Fantasy, I dont have to say anything about this game, but I will anyways. Now 17 years later, Final Fantasy IV has been reborn ( yes! a remake). So, for the people that missed it can play it in a new way, Every one of the games event scenes has been redone with good camera angles & impressive teck as real-time shadows on the characters. Much of the dialogue is now voiced, adding emotion to each character. "Adding 3-D graphics, voices, & other details to a remake of an older title was diffcult. No matter what you know that it is going to be different from what fans of the original had envisoned," explains executive producer & director Takashi Tokita, the Square Enix veteran who also helmed the Super Nintendo version of Final Fantasy IV. "so we concentrated on trying to bring our original vision to life using the modern tools we now have to work with." Even with all the graphical upgrades, the battle system can now support larger parties on both sides of the battlefield. O, & finally! The second screen of the DS has been put to better use, providing info about enemies, weapons, & status conditions in battle, & a detailed automap that reveals itself as you explore each dungeon area. An old game made for new & old RPG players. Look for it this July.(release date: 7/22/08)
-Metal Slug 7-Not alot to say about Metal Slug 7, its game is more for fans of Metal Slug ( Metal Slug 1-6 & X are on Metal Slug Anthology for the Wii) or fans of 2-D games. For the people that dont know, in Metal Slug 6 you can carry two weapons at once, & there are plenty of power-ups to help you in your mission, including heavymachine gun, rocket launchers, shotguns, flamethrowers, swords, & new weapons like the electricity gun. O, & the con
