Sonic confirmed for Brawl, however Brawl gets delayed.

Sonic is officially confirmed, there is also a movie over at the SmashBros.com website, so I suggest you take a look at that as well. (He turns into Super Sonic!) Apparently this was confirmed at the Nintendo conference first, and they mentioned that there would be online cooperative-play as well. The bad news is that the game seems to have been pushed back about a month in release date according to the conference, it is listed as TBD on the official site.
Finally! After months and months of speculation! Maybe Super Sonic is Sonics final smash, such as Bowser/giga bowser.
As for the set back of dates, maybe since it gonna WiFi Nintendo will do a World Wide launch, releasing within days of each other rather than months...
It's no surprize, but i was really hoping he wasn't going to be in Brawl...those who know me, you know that Sonic is my most hated video game character...I just hope people don't use him all the time online. I also hope he isn't high tier. And about the delay..I'm ok with that, I can just play Halo until it comes out, plus if it's after x-mas I'll have enough money when it comes out.
i was hoping for only nintendo characters on this game but im ok with sonic being in the game since he is 1 of my favorite characters.but when they put in lucas as a character they just killed the game and messed it up big time.

We all saw this coming. Come on, if they would put Snake in there why the hell would you not put Sonic in there. After all, people have whined for Sonic to be in a SSB game for ages. Oh yeah, I also found a video:
I'm probaly as excited as the next guy about sonic joining brawl, but hopefully nintendo doesnt mess up sonic like sonics past 4 games. I also wonder if any characters are getting removed from brawl or will all of them stay, cause some characters were just bad replicas of other characters(cough cough Ganondorf, Pichu, Roy, Falco)
I also hoped Sora from KH would be in. Maybe the delay means they're adding more characters...I don't care what people say, Sora is Smash Brother Material. He is awesome and everything about him screams to be like Link. Anyways, I'm also happy that sonic is in Smash Brothers, but there should be way more characters added.

SONIC IS A GOOD ADDITION, BUT WERES TAILS. TAILS WOULD DO NICELY IN THE GAME TOO. I THINK TAILS SHOULD FOLLOW SONIC AROUND LIKE NANA FOLLOWS POPO{like iceclimbers}.now that would be cool :thumbs up:
